Nigerian striker Toluwalase Arokodare grabbed two second half goals soon after coming off the bench to give Genk a crucial win over Antwerp on Boxing Day. The 23-year-old came on after just under 70 minutes, but 10 minutes later he had a brace and gave Genk breathing space over the defending champions.

AFCON bound Aliue Fadera gave the home side the perfect start after 10 minutes. The Gambian international was assisted by another AFCON bound player in DR Congo’s Joris Kayembe to open the scoring.
