According to ESPN, Ajax are closing in on a new deal for Jorrel Hato, extending the youngster’s contract up until 2028. Jorrel Hato joined Ajax’s academy in the summer of 2018 and since then the 17-year-old star has gone on to feature 45 times for the first team. Last December, the defender became the youngest-ever starting captain for Ajax in European history. He has also recently become the fifth youngest player ever to play for the senior Netherlands national team.

The 2006-born talent has serious potential, which means clubs across Europe are keeping tabs on him. Arsenal are one of Hato’s biggest admirers.
