Minor to Rebrand NH Museum Quarter Hotel in Amsterdam, Netherlands
(15/03/24)
Thailand’s Minor Hotels is preparing to open the
first Avani hotel in Netherlands.
The 163-key hotel, which is currently operating as
the NH Museum Quarter, will be rebranded as the Avani Museum
Quarter Amsterdam in Q2 2024.
The property is
located next to a canal, near landmarks like the Rijksmuseum and
Van Gogh Museum. The bustling PC Hooftstraat shopping district and
the De Pijp neighbourhood are within a leisurely five-minute
stroll, whilst Amsterdam Central Station is a ten-minute drive away
and the
RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre can be reached via a short
tram ride. In addition, the nearby Vondelpark has some excellent
jogging tracks for those guests who would like to maintain a
fitness regime.

The hotel’s rooms and suites are spread across seven floors, some
boasting floor-to-ceiling windows. All are equipped with the
latest mod-cons, including power shower, coffee machine, garment
steamer, yoga mat, and a Bluetooth speaker.
Facilities at the hotel include in-room
dining, a 24/7 gym, lobby lounge with grab-and-go dining concept,
courtyard terrace and a meeting room.
“Avani Museum Quarter Amsterdam marks a
significant milestone for Minor Hotels, reinforcing our commitment
to delivering exceptional experiences across the globe,” said Dillip Rajakarier, Group CEO of Minor
International and CEO of Minor Hotels. “With this
upcoming opening, Avani guests will be able to immerse themselves
in the art-led design of our newest gem in the Netherlands.”
The Avani brand is expected to more than double its property
count to almost 100 by the end of 2026. Minor Hotels, Avani’s
parent company, currently operates more than
540 hotels in 56 countries.
