Ukrainian border guards received 6 mobile hospitals from the Netherlands.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports.

With the help of these kits, military medics will be able to set up a full-fledged hospital in the field.

The SBGS notes that this will significantly enhance the medical and evacuation capabilities of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The mobile hospitals were delivered to Ukraine as part of international cooperation with the Netherlands.

This time, the border guards were provided with two Role 2 modules and four Role 1 modules. Representatives of the Netherlands also trained the staff of the State Border Guard Service’s medical units on the deployment and use of these mobile hospitals.

“We can set up a full-fledged hospital in the field with our own operating theater, pre-operating room, intensive care unit, laboratory, sterilisation room, reception and sorting department. Everything is provided, even sanitary facilities,” said Lt. Col. Oleh Havrashenko, medical service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

He emphasized that the mobile hospitals provided by the Netherlands would make it possible to bring the fastest medical care for the wounded closer to the frontline units, stabilise them in a shorter time and, accordingly, reduce the treatment time for servicemen.

As previously reported, at the beginning of July, Ukrainian border guards received a mobile hospital from the Netherlands.

The hospital is equipped with everything necessary to provide emergency medical care to the wounded and injured.

This is not the first time that the Netherlands, both independently and in cooperation with other countries, has transferred mobile hospitals to Ukraine. Last November, it became known that the Netherlands would provide three modern field hospitals for the National Guard of Ukraine. It was likely done in cooperation with other countries.

In March 2023, a mobile hospital delivered by the Estonian Centre for Defence Investments (ECDI) in cooperation with Norway and the Netherlands arrived in Ukraine.
